offers many governmental services for citizens
online, helping them carry out many activities
easily and quickly. BAWABA also provides
information about procedures necessary for
obtaining any governmental service. This assists
the government in keeping up with the rapid
progress in this era, leading towards a
successful application of the E-GOV concept. (

EgyMaps (a
partnership between QSIT and Connection) is the
first on-demand information dissemination,
map-based and location services in Egypt powered
by GIS technology. The website enables users to
search for the location of any place or address,
and display this location on a map. EgyMaps also
provides users with driving directions between
any 2 places in Greater Cairo. In addition,
EgyMaps offers numerous specialized Guides such
as Entertainment, Touristic, Financial, Medical,
Commercial, etc. (

Integration between BAWABA and EgyMaps will be
embodied through linking between the
governmental services in BAWABA and geographic
services in EgyMap, So that when the user
selects a service in BAWABA, an option is
enabled for him/her to display the location of
the selected service, as well as other
governmental buildings and ministries in the
surrounding. Another option is enabling the user
to display the driving directions to reach any
of those services or buildings from the user's
destination.
