Technology Institute of Egypt is organizing its
6th Arab Conference on Geographic
Information Systems
held in Cairo
Marriott hotel and its different activities will
take place during 12-13 September 2005, Cairo -
Egypt.
The main objective of the conference is to disseminate information about how GIS can help in achieving a better living conditions by improving governance at the regional, national and local levels, decentralizing the decision making process by emphasizing subsidiary of and participation in decision making.
The Conference will include plenary sessions, technical sessions, workshops, and training days and an accompanied exhibition, which would gather private companies, governmental organizations, scientific and training institutes and local authorities, working in the GIS at the local, national, regional or international levels.
